Associate Director of R&D, Tower Hamlets Primary Care Trust and North East London Consortium for Research & Development (NELCRAD)

Keith’s key role is to provide strategic leadership in the development and support of sustainable programmes of research and lead on developing an R&D culture and infrastructure across the North East London Sector in primary care. Previous to this he was Head of R&D at City and Hackney Teaching PCT and Visiting Lecturer in the Public Health and Primary Care Unit, City University.

Prior to joining the NHS Keith held posts at the Universities of London, Newcastle and Hull where he was a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Primary Care and Public Health undertaking research across much of Europe, including Russia, Spain, Scandinavia and the low countries. He gained his PhD in Psychology from the University of London and has wide experience in health services research, with particular emphasis on the assessment of the psychosocial impact of living with chronic disease and health survey research.
