Elliot joins NHS Innovations London after successfully leading a team focused on developing innovative SNP detection technology within a small biotechnology company; this work led to patent filings, novel services and technical partnerships with large biotech companies. Prior to this he worked on a collaboration between a spin-out company and AstraZeneca developing a biophysics based cell sorting system through POC studies. Elliot has a PhD on the effect of oligosaccharides on immune cell function, a MSc in Applied Microbiology and a B.Sc. in Biochemistry & Microbiology.
