Bharti became part of the NHS Innovations London team in August 2009.  Prior to joining NHSIL as a Partnership Liaison Manager, Bharti was an Account Manager at Agilent Technologies within the Genomics Division where she was responsible for clients including GSK and Pfizer.  Her experience within commerce also entails working at Bayer AG, particularly within collaborative research projects with acquired SME companies and individuals within academia.  As a Business Development Fellow at Birmingham University, Bharti successfully identified commercial opportunities at the School of Biosciences; this lead to patent filings and the formation of a spin out company.  Bharti has a PhD on fine mapping saline stress QTL in Arabidopsis and a B.Sc. in Biomedical Sciences.
