Everyday across the NHS staff are coming up with new advances in technology and new products to help improve the level of patient care.

£100,000 available to prove your idea can work

With up to £100,000 available per project, our Xpedite Innovation fund helps individuals prove their idea or invention can work. The fund provides financial backing and business support for inventors and researchers looking to demonstrate the commercial applications and viability of their technologies and research.

Since the launch of the Xpedite Innovation Fund over 20 projects from London Trusts have been allocated over £500,000.

Recent Proof of Concept fund allocations have covered the development of projects in the following areas:

Therapeutics
Diagnostics
Medical devices
Software
Assistive technology
Hospital equipment

The Xpedite Innovation Fund is open to all NHS staff with no restriction on the field of technology or invention.
