Rebecca Paulraj joined NHS Innovations London as a Development Project Manager in 2007 from Lonza Biologics Plc., where she held the positions of Customer Project Manager and Validation Scientist. She was responsible for managing numerous mammalian/recombinant drug intermediate development programmes for multinational and small pharmaceutical companies within a cGMP Contract Manufacturing environment. She is responsible for managing the development activities for the Diagnostics and Therapeutics portfolio at NHSIL and is part of the Xpedite® Innovation Management (XIM) consulting team.
Rebecca has a MBA in Technology Management (2007) and graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Biotechnology and Management (1996). She was employed as a QA Auditor and Research Scientist at Covance Laboratories Ltd., Harrogate and has held a Wellcome Research Assistantship at the Univerisity of Oxford and assistantships at the University of Alberta (Edmonton, Canada) and Kings College London - performing research in the fields of Neuroscience, Pulmonary Asthma and Molecular Genetics.
