Anti-Coagulant Technology

A proven anti-coagulant mixture which gives a stepwise change in the stability of the blood components in order to perform general haematology as well as platelet activity assessments.

Key Features and Benefits:

• Anti-Coagulant - maintains blood sample in the anti-coagulate state between venesection and measurements including blood count and platelet activation
• Platelet Activation - platelet stabilised in vitro for at least 6 hours for CD62P assays
• Stability - prevents platelet leukocyte aggregation for up to 7 days. Very low white blood cell flag count after 7 days at 4°C
• Use - whenever platelet activation needs to be monitored e.g. transplant patients, renal disease, immune deficiency diseases, coronary heart disease
• Low Cost of Production - EDTA/CTAD are conventional off-the-shelf chemicals
