PANDORA

PANDORA is an easy to use web-browser based software that demonstrates the complexity of the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) role. There are attributes of the CNS role that are not explicit but are vital to patient well-being.

A team at University College London Hospital has mapped, analysed and explored the connectivity of the components of the role of the CNS in acute care and found a means of articulating their role, efficiency and input. Through this software CNSs can now demonstrate how their clinical expertise and effective case management contribute to clinical efficiency. The result is an eight dimensional, web-based system called PANDORA.
