Team Tool™

Team Tool™ is an innovative web based software that manages and monitors core healthcare standards within the Trust. It consists of an annual cycle of learning / audit tools that cover the "must dos" derived from standards produced by Healthcare Commission, NHSLA, Essence of Care and others.

The teams electronically complete the audits for relevant monthly domains and results can be provided within the first week of the following month. This enables the Trust to plan corporate actions immediately.

It provides answers to some of the commonly asked questions like:

• How can we meet the numerous data reporting requirements of external agencies like Healthcare Commission, NHS Litigation Authority etc?
• How can we ensure that the standards are actually met at the point of clinical care?
• How can we train clinical team leaders to know about all of the national requirements and deliver on them whilst running patient services?
• How can we know which areas are in need of scarce specialists?
