Walking Aid for Parkinson's Disease Sufferers

This Parkinson's aid is a pair of glasses that project 'cue lines' on the floor to restore the gate of Parkinson's sufferers.

The gait problems experienced by Parkinson's Disease sufferers is due to Akinetic syndrome this can also affect patients with other related neurological diseases. The 'cue lines' help re-route the message to the brain enabling patients to walk normally.

The glasses are currently in a second stage of clinical trials. Results have been successful to date with positive patient feedback.
