Project Manager - Health Outcomes Unit
Katie has joined NHS Innovations London as a Project Manager for the Health Outcomes Unit. Katie has been in the healthcare environment specialising in medical technology outcomes, safety and regulation for 9 years. Prior to joining NHS Innovations London Katie worked in the Centre for Evidence-Based Purchasing (CEP) at NHS Purchasing and Supply Agency (NHS PASA) initiating and managing medical technology projects and undertaking business and stakeholder development. Prior to this Katie worked for the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). Her work at MHRA was on the in vitro diagnostics team investigating adverse events reported by the NHS and vigilance cases from manufacturers. Katie wrote and disseminated safety advice to the NHS and was involved in the recall and modification of many devices. Katie also provided technical expertise on regulatory issues including carrying out compliance cases and notified body audits in the UK and the United States.
Katie started her career with a brief stint in publishing and holds a degree in Biomedical Science.
