"I joined NHSIL in 2007 as the Development Project Manager for the Therapeutics and Diagnostics portfolio. The working environment within the therapeutics and diagnostics team is dynamic and challenging with most of us coming from industry with some academic and/or clinical research experience. During my 3 years at NHSIL, I have had a variety of career progressive experiences, such as developing my business consultancy skills with the Xpedite® Innovation Management programme (at a local and international level) and the NHS London Regional Innovation Fund 2010/11. I enjoy working with the analytical and clinical teams at the Trusts to bring ideas through the development pipeline to market and I look forward to the coming year when 3 of my high value projects will reach the commercialisation phase.

NHSIL hosts a variety of large events each year which publicise and champion the cause of Innovation within the NHS.  These events have proven to be very advantageous for NHS inventors, academics and industry alike by facilitating interactions between the three cohorts with a view to increasing innovation."

"I have been with NHSIL for more than 3 years and enjoy coming into work each day. The NHSIL team is such a pleasure to work with. There is a lot of variety in the work I handle as Head of Finance & Administration that I would not get otherwise, as an accountant. I have been given ample opportunity to grow and get the training I wanted."
